Bach, Johann Christian: Wind Concertos 2

We are continuing our extensive cpo edition with the recording of all of Johann Christian Bach's symphonic-concertante works with Vol. 2 of his complete wind concertos. The Flute Concerto in G major is an absolute premiere recording, but will probably be familiar to some, as it is the oboe concerto in F major transposed up a tone, the solo part of which has been reworked to show the specific characteristics of the flute. This and the Oboe Concerto No. 2 in F major as well as the Bassoon Concerto in B flat major are once again presented to you by the Hanover Band under Anthony Halstead and the soloists Anthony Robson, Rachel Brown and Jeremy Ward.
