The 1966 Le Mans 24-hour race went down in history - also because of exciting events off the track. In November, a Hollywood film about the events of that time will be released in the cinemas with Christian Bale and Matt Damon in the leading roles. The soundtrack to the film takes us back to the golden 60s with songs by great stars of that time. In the film, Henry Ford II took over his grandfather's family business in the early 1960s. In order to establish American cars on the market dominated by European manufacturers, he revised the company concept with the help of the young visionary Lee Iacocca and the former racing champion. The film culminates in his historic race in the city of Le Mans.
