To mark the 30th anniversary of U2's "Zooropa," a limited edition of the Grammy-winning album will be released on colored vinyl in September 2023, coinciding with the band's performances at Sphere in Las Vegas. Originally planned only as an EP, "Zooropa" became a full-fledged album with 10 tracks recorded in six weeks in 1993, making it the fastest U2 album ever. Produced by Flood, Brian Eno and The Edge, the album reached #1 in the U.K., U.S., Ireland, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Sweden, Austria, France, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland and included the singles "Numb," "Lemon" and "Stay (Faraway, So Close!)."
