Leprous' creative process /// Leprous spent significantly more time in the studio for their new album "Malina" than on their previous albums, where they gave free rein to their creativity. The Norwegian progressive metallers threw their ideas over several times and always found new ones, which is why the result finally became a completely different one than originally planned: more dynamic and energetic than the predecessor "The Congregation" from 2015. The band already revealed the sound of their fifth album in advance with the first two singles "From The Flame" and "Stuck". Leprous were supported in the recording of "Malina" by producer David Castillo. Jens Bogren (Opeth, Kreator, Haken, Amon Amarth) was responsible for the mixing of the record. Good things take time. For their new album "Malina" Leprous went through a creative process. The result is different. Maybe their best album.
