The young American singer and songwriter Melody Gardot truly has the blues. The quality of the lyrics and the music actually suggests that Melody Gardot already has a wealth of artistic experience. In fact, however, she only started making music properly a few years ago. Her debut album "Worrisome Heart" seems somehow familiar on the one hand, yet extraordinarily surprising on the other.
