"You've Got It Bad Girl", originally released on A&M Records in 1973, was one of five consecutive number one US jazz albums for Quincy Jones and features exquisite arrangements and guests including Stevie Wonder and Bill Withers. The opening track, Quincy's Grammy award-winning version of "Summer In The City", with stunning vocals by Valerie Simpson, is an oft-sampled groove classic, the stunning version of Dizzy Gillespie's "Manteca" features solos by Dennis Budimir, Phil Woods and Jerome Richardson. Other highlights include excellent versions of two Stevie Wonder songs and Aretha Franklin's "Daydreaming". The album features an all-star cast of musicians, including George Duke, Ernie Watts, Ray Brown and Phil Woods.
