Jakko M. Jakszyk, most recently known as the singer and guitarist of legendary progressive rockers King Crimson, is back with his brand new solo album "Son Of Glen". Anyone familiar with Jakko's highly acclaimed autobiography "Who's The Boy With The Lovely Hair?" will be aware of the intense emotional journey he undertook in search of his roots (as an adopted child), and his new solo album takes many of the themes addressed there as a starting point. Featuring musicians such as Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, The Pineapple Thief), Ian Mosely (Marillion), Louise Patricia Crane, Caroline Lavelle, Zoltán Csörsz and his son Django Jakszyk (who plays bass on the album), "Son Of Glen" is an honest and beautiful collection that ends with the ten-minute title track, a fantasy about the real father he never knew.
