The album "In the Hot Seat", released in 1994, was Emerson, Lake & Palmer's last studio album. Created during a difficult period for the band, the album is characterized by concise songwriting without neglecting the technical brilliance of their earlier works.
This 2017 remastered 2-CD edition presents the original album with improved clarity and dynamics, a more precise production and more presence for the rhythm section and keyboard sounds.
The second CD contains bonus material from this period, including additional mixes and session recordings, offering a more comprehensive insight into the band's final studio phase. For collectors and die-hard fans, this edition is the ultimate expanded version of ELP's final album.
