Uwe Scholz was one of the leading German choreographers of the 20th century. He choreographed more than one hundred ballets, all of which are distinguished by their magical beauty, profound emotionality and extraordinary musicality. Seen here is the legendary two-part Sacre du printemps from the final years of his creative life, complemented by the film Soulscapes, a highly personal and moving portrait of Uwe Scholz with excerpts from his most important ballets.
