Music for no tomorrow: Kanye West collaborator and dark rap innovator Travis Scott releases his debut album "Rodeo". On two mixtapes to date, Travis Scott has presented himself as an idiosyncratic rap voice, even by Texan standards. With Owl Pharaoh (2013) and Days Before Rodeo (2014), he added a depth to the characteristic chooped-and-screwed sound of his native Houston that is rarely heard in the city of oil and cough syrup. Even more than the two tapes, however, Scott's involvement in the latest Kanye West album has brought him to the attention of a wider rap public. On Yeezus, he was involved in the production of "New Slaves" and "Guilt Trip".
